Sweet almond oil
Cold pressed organic sweet almond oil is the base oil for all of our products and can be used on any skin type. It nourishes the skin and balances any loss of moisture the skin has experienced. Sweet almond oil smooth’s and softens the skin and has the ability to prevent premature aging. It is anti-inflammatory and is rich in vitamins A, B, D and E and essential fatty acids.

Kawakawa is a beautiful native plant with a heart-shaped leaf.
Traditionally the leaves of the kawakawa tree were used for many skin conditions and wounds. Traditionally the leaves of the kawakawa tree were used for many skin conditions and wounds. Kawakawa is highly anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial.
When making kawakawa oil we harvest the kawakawa leaves from the Laredo's farm in Akaroa, hang it to dry at home and slowly infuse it into almond oil.
Kawakawa is used in our mahu oil.

Mānuka is a tree native to New Zealand and is used medicinally by Maori for many ailments. The essential oil is drawn out of the leaves and twigs of the tree. Mānuka oil has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-acne properties making it perfect for cleaning skin and healing skin irritations. Mānuka essential oil is used in all of our products.

Lavender is not native to New Zealand but it is one of the most popular
essential oils due to its healing properties, these include anti-fungal,
anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-depressant.
Lavender is found in our marino oil.

New Zealand propolis
Propolis is not a plant but a resinous substance made by bees to protect
their hive from infection. Propolis contains antibacterial, anti-fungal,
anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Propolis is used in our horoi oil.

Harakeke is a native flax plant and one of the most
well used native plants + can be compared to aloe vera.
Medicinally Maori used the gum of the flax for boils, burns, and eczema.
